A kihívás
IQCITRUS experienced contamination in end products from particles of lime and corrosion deposits. The Cleaning in Place (CIP) system showed heavy lime deposits of over one millimeter after only six months of operation, forcing the entire production batch to be discarded.
A Merus megoldás
Merus installed two Merus rings to eliminate existing deposits and prevent future scale formation and corrosion within the production lines and CIP system.
Eredmények
→Lime deposits were eliminated within the production lines, no deposits were found inside the water-steam exchanger, corrosion was eliminated from metallic system components, and impurity particles in the end products disappeared completely. Production capacity was restored to normal specifications within 65 days.
