De uitdaging
Hard, aggressive water caused extensive limescale buildup in an industrial automatic dishwasher. The limits of capacity of the softener were reached and still there were huge amounts of limescale at the interior. Deposits on the heating coil reduced efficiency, blocked nozzles caused poor washing results, and regular descaling with strong chemicals was required for operation.
De Merus-oplossing
Installation of a Merus Ring at the water inlet to prevent limescale formation and keep calcium carbonate dissolved.
Resultaten
→After just a few days the limescale's texture was softer. 8 weeks after the installation of the Merus Ring the dishwasher looked as good as new. Approximately 50% of cases eliminated the need for regenerating salt entirely.
