TOC - Total Organic Carbon

Total organic carbon (TOC) is a key parameter for measuring the organic load in water. It functions as a faster and more accurate alternative to COD or BOD testing methods. The measurement process involves oxidizing a water sample at temperatures exceeding 1000 degrees C, which converts organic carbon into CO2. Sensors then detect the CO2 concentration, with results expressed in mg/l.
