Limescale in steam generator nozzles caused regular downtimes for cleaning and maintenance, with worst cases requiring manual cleaning twice weekly. Scaled shower heads affected water distribution and hygiene appearance.

Installation of Merus Rings at the water entry point, hot water boiler, and steam generator feed lines to prevent limescale buildup throughout water systems.
Résultats
→Replaced traditional water softeners in nearly 300 FitnessFirst UK clubs. Now used across Basic Fit's 1000+ European clubs. Service requirements and cleaning agent costs reduced significantly. Investment cost less than one-third of classical water softeners. No regeneration costs.
