De uitdaging
A farm with 16,000 acres used well water with variable quality depending on rainfall. High Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) made pesticide dosing inconsistent; the spray did not emerge evenly from all nozzles before installation. Algae growth in storage tanks required manual cleaning every two weeks.
De Merus-oplossing
Merus installed water treatment rings to improve pesticide solubility without chemical changes, making the water behave like soft water.
Resultaten
→The spray now emerges evenly from all nozzles, with excellent weed kill rates using the same pesticide program. There was no algae growth in storage tanks, eliminating the need for mechanical tank cleaning. The sight gauge hose remained clean and transparent, whereas previously it turned brown/black within 6 weeks.
