How the Merus Ring works
Theory meets technology
The Merus Ring is an aluminium ring that is clamped around a water pipe. It needs no power supply, no magnets and no chemicals. It changes the way the molecules in the water oscillate.
The Merus principle
Oscillation and interference
Every substance has its own natural oscillation. The Merus Ring carries a stored pattern of oscillations onto the water. Through interference these patterns superimpose on the natural frequencies of limescale, rust and other substances and raise their ability to stay dissolved. What stays dissolved cannot settle as a deposit.

Installed in minutes
The ring is made of two halves and is fixed to the outside of the pipe with two screws and a strip of insulating tape. There is no contact with the water, no cutting and no interruption of your process. Larger pipes simply take a larger ring.

What it treats
The same ring works against limescale, corrosion, biofilm and algae at the same time. Existing deposits soften and are gradually flushed out during normal operation. The effect reaches far along the pipe and does not wear out over time.

Range and temperature
Merus Rings are produced for pipes from one half inch up to eighty inches. The treated fluid must be liquid, and the technology is effective at fluid temperatures well above 300 degrees Celsius.
