In most of these steam boilers incrustations can be found and corrosion is never brought really fully under control. Deposits reduced heat transfer efficiency, requiring more energy for the same output.
The Merus solution
Installation of a Merus Ring at the boiler feed line combined with continued chemical treatment and periodic monitoring by MPOB over 12 months.
Results
→Chemical dosage reduced by 15-55%. Limescale as well as corrosion in the steam boiler was reduced significantly. Deposits became soft-textured and easier to remove during annual cleaning. Enhanced heat transfer efficiency achieved.
